Sunless Tanning - Pros and Cons
|
Sunless tanning can be time
consuming and a pain in the butt. It is really worth
it though. Especially since skin cancer is a huge
epidemic right now. Sunless tanning saves your skin
and your health. It is not worth being tan for the
chance of skin cancer. I do know that is you do get
skin cancer it can spread pretty quickly. It is
nasty too. You need to take care of your skin, and
right now knowing everything we do, you would be
stupid to still wreck yourself by tanning. I am not
only talking about tanning in the tanning beds but
also taking precautions while out in the sun. Using
sunless tanning you can be tan and healthy. Really,
you should not have to do it that often. About once
a week, depending on how tan you want to be. Keep in
mind, the more you put on, the chances are greater
that it will look fake. I think no matter how good
the sunless tanning lotion is; if you use it too
much it will look orange. You need to watch out for
that. |

It can be time consuming, but the
more you do it, the quicker and easier it will get.
There are spots you really need to watch out for so
that they do not turn orange. It will not matter
what kind of lotion you use, you still need to be
really careful around these areas. Your fingers,
hands, ankles, elbows, knees, and hair lines are
spots that will easily turn orange. You need to use
lotion sparingly and wash your hands very, very well
after using. Also, if you put sunless tanning lotion
on dry skin it will look orange and uneven. That
will eliminate orange spots. The lotion embeds
itself in these spots because there are so many
cracks and lines. If it stays there it will just
turn orange-ish. Think of it this way: if you were
to put lotion on a smooth spot of skin vs. a dry
cracked area. The lotion will just sit in the cracks
vs. a smooth spot where it will easily spread over.

Sunless tanning really can work. You
need a good product and you need to do it the right
way. I will let you know the best way it has worked
for me, giving you tips, and letting you know what
has not worked for me. I will also tell you products
that I like. If you have any products that you like
or do not like, or tips let me know. |
