Waxing Legs Guide
|
There are a couple of
options as to how you can get them waxed. Half of
the leg, the whole leg, and some places even have
the knee. Every salon is going to be different. When
I was looking up prices I was surprised that one
salon actually had the knee separate. Most will give
you the option of half leg or whole leg. I cannot
imagine that you wouldn’t just get the whole leg
done, especially if you are already growing the hair
out. Keep in mind that you should grow the hair out
to ¾ of an inch. Make sure it is long enough because
you do not want stubble on your leg leaving the
salon. You want the wax to have hair to grab onto so
it can pull it out. I have never had my legs waxed;
it is just easier for me to shave them. I do shave
everyday, so it would be nice to give that up. I
have problems growing my hair out long enough to get
waxed. Depending on how quickly your hair grows out,
this will take a couple of weeks, at least. I could
not go that long with hairy legs. This is really
something to look into if you are going on a
vacation. I love getting waxed before a vacation; it
just makes things so much easier. If you can handle
growing your hair out, go for it, do it. The cost
will really vary by the salon but you can expect
around $30. The salon that waxes knees charges $18
to do so. |

| The waxing process is going to be
the same as before. They will start by cleaning your
skin with usually a liquid. They will just wipe it
on your legs with a cotton ball, or something
similar. Then after that dries they will apply the
wax and on top of the wax they will put a cloth.
Then, they will rub in into the skin and pull it
off. After that they will apply a soothing cream,
lotion, or powder. This is cut down your irritation,
redness and bumps. That is waxing for your legs.
Like I said- if you can stand to grow your hair out
it is a good way to get rid of it inexpensively. I
would really think about it before a big event or
trip. It might make your life easier. |
