Tattoo Removal Cream - Tattoo-Off
Cream Review
|
There are different ways to
remove a tattoo. The most common are with a laser at
a doctors office or an at home cream. I have tried
both. More recently I have tried the at home cream.
I have to say, I am very disappointed. I would NOT
recommend it at all. They got my hopes up, thinking
it would work, and the customer service suck so bad.
It is expensive too. I paid $239 for a 5 month
supply, that is what they recommend. Yeah, I am sure
they do. Jerks.
My first complaint is the cost. It is expensive,
and I would not mind spending the money, if the
product worked…even if it worked a little bit.
Since the product doe in fact NOT work, it is a
waste of money. One month supply is $65, with $4.95
for shipping and handling. Three months is $169,
with $7.95 for shipping. The five month supply is
$239 and shipping is free. They say that this is a
good place to start on their website. Then, there
is an eight month supply, with they say is the most
popular, and that costs $339 with free shipping.
The twelve month supply, with they claim is the best
buy, is $479 with free shipping. Like I said- if it
worked it would be worth it I think, but for me, it
didn’t even fade my tattoo a little. I bought the
five month supply, and my tattoo is small, it is
about 1 ˝ inches long and less than ˝ inch wide.
The colors are blue and it is lighter at the top and
darkens as it goes down. When I used the product
one month lasted me three months because my tattoo
is so small. I used the product for over five
months, and I got no results at all. |

On the website it also explains how
it works. I do not think that they did a good job
of this. In the How It Works page all it says it
that it works, no matter the color, type or amount
of ink used. It really does not explain at all how
it works. They have a page with pictures of before
and after shots and I think they made these up. It
is easy to doctor pictures on a computer and that is
what I think they did to get the after pictures. I
would love for one person to contact me and tell me
they had good or even a little result with this
product. I also think they made the testimonials up
on their website. I read them, and come on! Not
true and some are just so lame. I read what people
thought before I bought this and I do not believe
any are written by real people.
The tattoo I am trying to remove is small, 1 1/2" X
less than 1/2". The color is blue, and it fades from
the top to the bottom, so the bottom is a darker
color. The outline is a navy, dark blue.
I tried the Tattoo-Off cream. I
started it April 15th, 2008. It is currently
January 15, 2009. There has not been a change at
all. The color and size and shape are all exactly
what they were when I started using the Tattoo-Off
products. For awhile there, in the beginning, it
almost looked like the color was getting darker. I
was pissed. I expected the product to at least fade
the tattoo a little.
The first day I used the product it tingled a little
and the has not since. It does not hurt at all. To
use the product you have to moisten the skin and rub
this primer on the skin. It has little beads and is
like an exfoliate. Next, you rinse that off and dry
the skin. Then you apply the second cream, the
initiator. You leave this one for ten minutes before
putting clothes on, so it can dry. You are supposed
to do this twice a day. When you get the product you
will receive no explanations on how to use the
product. They just put it on the product that you
put it one your skin. I would have like to know how
long to rub the primer on, and when to expect to see
a difference. Or maybe how much of the initiator to
put on. I suppose they cannot do that because their
product does not work! I feel like such a loser to
believe it would work. I was disappointed that there
was such a lack of instructions. This also gets on
your clothes and will stain it, so be careful. Now,
I have all these clothes that are ruined because
there is a brown stain on them. Sick. |

Another thing I did notice is that
there were little red bumps around the tattoo area.
It seemed like it was clogging my pores. So sick, I
do not think a product should do that. It did clear
up after a couple of days, I only applied the
product once a day, to help let clear up. My skin
did at time get bumpy and raised. I was hoping that
it was working, but it wasn't.
I am sick of using the product, I actually got sick
of using the product after a couple of days. Too
much work because it is too messy and you have to
walk around without clothes for at least ten minutes
to let it dry, only for it to still get all over
your clothes.
I emailed the company because I was frustrated that
it is not working. They sent me a "cookie cutter"
generic email back.
We cannot say because all tattoo's are different and
everyone is different. I asked for refund and they
just said it took time to work. It took over a
week for them to even respond to my email. I am
getting more irritated with them.
Then, I sent a second email telling them how I am
disappointed and their product sucks and their
customer service sucks. I think for spending that
much money, if it doesn't work, the right thing to
do is refund the money back. They replied, after a
long time again, that they are sorry and it is
beyond their control. They can not guarantee their
product. Nice Tattoo-Off, you basically just told me
how much you suck yourself.
In the end, I have put a complaint
into the Better Business Bureau. The just emailed
me and said they mailed the companies response is in
the mail. I am guessing nothing will be done about
it, and I think the company can suck it. They have
a horrible product and horrible customer service. I
think if you really believe your product will work
you should hear the complaints and try to make it
right with that customer. It is such a hoax and I
would never buy it again! I wish I would not have
done it in the first place. I am desperate to get
rid of this tattoo, and I started with lasering to
get rid of it. The place I go to stopped doing it,
and I live in a smaller town up north, and there is
not a single place that does it up here. Lasering
is expensive, but it actually works. Look into that
route if you want to get rid of a tattoo. I think
that is the only way to get rid of a tattoo and the
only option that works.
I am just so mad
at this company, and if they would have actually
talked to me about it and refunded my money, I would
still think their product sucks, but I would think
the company was at least okay. I would never do
business with them again. The only thing I can do
now is hope that people read this and that they do
not waste their money and get their hopes up that it
might work. IT DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, NOT EVEN A
LITTLE!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! I would
give it -1,000 stars on a scale of one to ten.
I would NEVER buy this in my life again and I think
you are a moron if you buy it, especially after
reading this. I did research and everyone said it
worked, that is why I gave it a chance. I kind of
wonder if they make comments posing to be regular
people and toot their own horn in hopes to get
people to buy their product. I cannot imagine this
really worked for anyone. DO NOT BUY IT!!!!!! DO NOT
BUY IT!!!!!!!!! It will be a waste of your money,
and it is not cheap. |
